Problem Note 52561: In SAS® Enterprise GRC, the error "The user ID or the password is incorrect" might be displayed when a delegate acts on behalf of another user
In SAS Enterprise GRC, you can enable another user to act as a delegate on your behalf. If you change your password after you create the delegation, the following error message might be displayed when the delegate tries to act on your behalf:
The application could not log on to the server "SERVER_NAME:PORT". The user ID "USER_ID" or the password is incorrect.
To work around the problem, you must log on and re-create your delegations after you change your password.
Click the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.
To enable the function that is provided in the hot fix, you must set the following system property for any application server nodes where the SAS Web Infrastructure Platform is running:
com.sas.svcs.authentication.client.DelegationService.useTrustedLogin = true
When you set the system property to
true, the system uses a trusted login for the delegate. The delegate is not able to connect to a standard workspace server while acting on your behalf unless your password is stored in the metadata server. The delegate can connect to a pooled workspace server, or you can configure the standard workspace server to use launch credentials. Regardless of which workspace server is used, the workspace server process runs under the launch credentials instead of your credentials.
